Wetting and dispersing agent DESCRIPTION

Anjeka-6104S is a solution of an unsaturated polycarboxylic acid polymer copolymer with polysiloxane and is suitable for medium to high polarity systems.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

Please stir well before use, the temperature below 0 ℃ may occur stratification or muddy oil, heating to 30 ℃ -60 ℃ and stir well.

Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.

SPECIAL NOTES

These products have limited compatibility with petroleum solvents or systems diluted with petroleum solvents.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Properties and Benefits.

Wetting and dispersing additive that improves pigment wetting and stabilizes pigment dispersion by causing controlled flocculation of pigments and body pigments, thus preventing color float/blooming and hard settling. Suitable for medium to high polarity systems, it is particularly effective in preventing color floatation when titanium dioxide is combined with other colored pigments. It can also be used in amine-neutral and waterborne coatings. It is immiscible with the solvent gasoline. When used in antirust primers, it enhances the protective properties in many cases.Anjeka-6104S also contains a small amount of polysiloxane copolymer, which makes it even more effective in preventing color float. Silicones also help prevent Bernard swirls and streaks and improve surface slip, leveling, and orientation of matting agents or aluminum powders, thus often eliminating the need for additional silicone additives.

APPLICATION SECTORS

Recommended for coating systems: solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings, as well as printing inks. Recommended applications: industrial coatings, architectural coatings, anticorrosive coatings, automotive coatings, etc.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

The amount of additives (in purchased form) is based on the pigment:

Titanium dioxide: 0.5%-2.5%

Inorganic pigments: 3%-10%

Organic pigments: 10%-20

The above figures are empirical, the optimum amount should be determined by a series of tests.

INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS

For best performance, the additive should be added to the mill base before pigment addition.
